Marcelo Bernardes

Marcelo Bernardes is from Rio de Janeiro, and very active in the music scene of the city.  He plays all saxophones, clarinet, metal and wooden flutes (plus the piccolo flute and ocarina), and has performed with famous Brazilian musicians such as, Chico Buarque, Nana Cayimi, Djavan and Claudio Nucci. He is also a very sought-after studio musician and plays in another Brazilian regional band called Choro na Feira.  He is responsible for playing at some of the best samba jazz Rio music gigs, performing with other composers of instrumental music and also has beautiful NEW ERA® compositions.
