Biomusic with street kids in Africa
It’s a pleasure to present the work made to the NGO Medecins sans Frontiers in Conakry, Guinea (Africa).
The project " Enfants de Rue" (Street children) exists since March 2001 and supports children and teenagers that lives in the markets of Matoto and Entag. Based in the hearing and in the development of children's confidence, this psycho-social assistance allows, in a first moment, to get better the health and the general conditions of their lives. Once this confidence is established, the MSF animators forward them to education classes, formations and the professional insertion in a local way of getting funds. MSF also supports the familiar insertion and the research of structures to attend the families.
Biomusic had the honor to integrate this project, building instruments and developing potentialities of animators, children and teenagers. Using the researches made in the country, the sounds and movements were the way of communication to a collective learning process of relationship and integration.
We worked the stabilization of the street kids stimulating the statement, creativity, cooperation and the self-confidence.
We played in the first anniversary

parent the master djembefola Famoudou Konate.
