Solar Battery
Solar battery is a percussion group formed in November of 1999, with youths that had access to Biomúsica in the Samba School Mocidade Alegre The work of the group is based on the Brazilian rhythms and basic dance movements. Inside of the work of Biomúsica, mainly in the Batucaridades, this group offers the axis soud/movement for all the participants interact and amuse themselves..
The name Solar Battery has several interpretations, being the re-transmission of an inexhaustible vital energy, a basic beginning. Battery - source of energy, rhythmic section of a Samba school. Solar - of the Sun, musical moment of great expressiveness.
The Solar Battery uses original instruments of Samba school and it develops a sequence of Brazilian rhythms regarding several states: Ijexá (Bahia), Ciranda (Pernambuco), Baião ( Northeast States), Samba-Reggae (Bahia), Maracatu (Pernambuco), samba (Rio and São Paulo).Drummers:
